Acquaviva

Salento, Marina di Marittima - Diso: Acquaviva is the name of a small inlet of Marina di Marittima located on the Adriatic Sea and precisely in the municipality of Diso. Acquaviva is a precious stone set among the rocks of this stretch of the Lower Salento coast. Not far from the more famous Marina di Castro, this marvelous inlet encloses all the beauty of the surrounding landscape, a naturalistic charm that manifests itself in a mixture of different colors ranging from the green of the Mediterranean scrub and the striking pine forest to the blue of the sea and the different shades of brown of the uninterrupted cliffs. The bay is found as if in an embrace of rocks and cliffs and is easily reached via a flight of steps that begins at the parking lot located at the top of this enchanted place. A typical feature of this coastal stretch that you will surely not miss to notice is the freshness of these waters due to the presence of numerous freshwater springs present here and that make your dives full of adrenaline, freshness and pleasant sensations especially on sultry days. Nature has really had fun designing these fabulous places, the charm and beauty surrounding us can be felt immediately when we get out of the car and anxiously set out towards the bay, and one step after another we can"t wait to get down to the sea for an emotionally charged swim. The water immediately becomes high, a typical feature of Salento reefs so watch out for children always accompanied, the rocky seabed is ideal for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts; the place is an absolute gem and for obvious reasons now falls under the environmental protection of the Otranto - Santa Maria di Leuca Park. Spending even a single day in Acquaviva enriches your vacation but above all your spirit because of the stupendous landscape panorama you will have in front of you, and at that point you will not even find the words to describe such a spectacle of nature. Those who come there for the first time do not forget and sooner or later return because Acquaviva represents the pride and boast of your Salento vacation, a summer to be immortalized and kept among the most precious memories!

Spiaggia di Chianca Liscia

Salento, Marina di Marittima - Diso: Chianca Liscia Beach is located in Marina di Marittima, a hamlet of the municipality of Diso in the province of Lecce. We are on the side of the Adriatic Sea in the deep south of a Salento all to be discovered, for its natural beauty, for the surrounding landscape and for a coastline that never ceases to surprise, attracting every year hundreds of visitors looking for a cool corner to enjoy a day at the beach in peace. Chianca Liscia Beach owes its name to the fact that this place has a type of smooth, flat cliff, shaped by the perpetual flow of the waves in such a way as to be convenient for laying out your beach towel and taking advantage of a beautiful tan under the Salento sun so as to make your colleagues envious once you have returned to work. Chianca Liscia Beach is a wonderful place, a little corner of paradise that is little frequented even in the height of the summer season, and this lonely, time-lost aspect of it makes it even more attractive and inviting for those seeking relaxation and tranquility. Here you will be distracted only by the sound of the waves that so gently beat on the rocks and you will have nothing to do but relax and be massaged by that gentle breeze that usually blows in these parts. The only flaw turns out to be reaching the Beach of Chianca Liscia, as to get there you have to walk a small path with a downhill staircase not really appropriate so that this place I would not recommend to families with children, the elderly and the disabled. For the rest, once you get there it will be pleasant to bathe in these very fresh and clean waters; the sea turns out to be shallow only for a small stretch, after which it immediately becomes deep and lends itself gladly to snorkelers but also for a healthy and regenerating swim. This place deserves all our attention but also care in the respect of an unspoiled nature, going away take back with you the garbage bags a small gesture to keep intact an environment as suggestive as delicate ... good vacations from Marina di Marittima.
