Porto Miggiano Tower overlooks the small harbour and bay. Santa Cesarea Terme municipality dates it to the second half of the 16th century and records its defensive and offensive role, including artillery, within the coastal tower system.

Stay on safe routes and away from cliff edges. The historic masonry is not for climbing and the interior should not be assumed to be freely accessible.
If the wind strengthens, reassess your return before conditions worsen.
Recommended for history, photography and views over the coast between Castro and Santa Cesarea. It is not a destination for sand, universal accessibility or beach services at the foot of the tower.
Before deciding, pay particular attention to the access and safety cards, as they can completely change the experience.
Less suitable for anyone seeking a standalone beach day: this is mainly a historic and scenic stop.
