Torre Rinalda borders Torre Chianca to the south and Casalabate, Squinzano-Trepuzzi to the north. Torre Rinalda is a marina in the municipality of Lecce and lies to the east of the Salento peninsula along a beautiful stretch of coastline washed by the Adriatic Sea. The locality takes its name from the 16th-century tower of the same name that was built to defend the Salento from the continuous incursions of Saracen pirates that raged the coast in those years.
