The Gaia Cave represents a spectacle that cannot be described with simple words; this sea cave of rare beauty is located in Porto Selvaggio along a stretch of coast bathed by the waters of the Ionian Sea and characterized by impervious and jagged cliffs that fall sheer to the sea producing in this way a dizzying effect of the entire coast with points, for those who love diving, very interesting to savor that primitive thrill and feed on that essential adrenaline that stimulates our most hidden senses. Well, diving from one of these heights one is projected into the water in a fraction of a second, and once the thrill of the dive has been absorbed, there is another equally strong thrill that manifests itself when admiring this marvelous example of a sea cave. The Gaia Cave presents an effect of lights that color the inside of this sea cavity producing an evocative variety of colors that mix with the transparent blue waters; the emerald green, the turquoise, the brown of the limestone walls and above all the emotions, the real ones, in feeling an integral part of this fascinating natural phenomenon transmit unique feelings of well-being. Sometimes a vacation goes beyond the beach umbrella, the sun bed, the night at the disco; Porto Selvaggio and Grotta Gaia specifically vibrate with positive feelings, and only by experiencing firsthand certain emotions can you understand the importance of what I am describing, nothing else to add, have a good summer from the magical Salento.
