Litorale di Ugento Park

The Litorale di Ugento Regional Natural Park was established by Regional Law no. 13 of 2007 and covers about 1,600 hectares.

The basins and Visitor Centre

The basins behind the beach were created from the 1930s onwards to reclaim former marshland.
