The beach of Pescoluse
The beach is made of pale, very fine sand. Free public sections alternate with beach establishments along the coast.
The sea often shows turquoise shades and is generally shallow close to shore, a feature that has helped make the locality widely known.
Dunes and coastal landscape
Behind the beach lies a belt of dunes with Mediterranean vegetation. This environment is an integral part of the Pescoluse landscape and should only be crossed using the established access paths.
The continuous sandy shore links Pescoluse to the other seaside resorts of Salve, especially Torre Pali and Posto Vecchio.
Blue Flag and Green Flag
The Municipality of Salve lists Pescoluse among its 2026 Blue Flag beaches, an award connected with water quality and local services.
In 2026 Pescoluse also received the Green Flag, awarded to seaside locations considered suitable for children and families.
