The beach of Torre Pali
The regional source describes a long stretch of very fine sand, with equipped beach clubs alternating with free public beach.
As far as the tower the coast is low and sandy; heading north it becomes rocky around Isola della Fanciulla.
The tower in the sea
The coastal tower was built in the 16th century as a lookout against attacks from the sea.
Today it is largely ruined and stands on a small islet a few metres from shore, making it the symbol of the locality.
Isola della Fanciulla and the harbour
Isola della Fanciulla is a low rectangular rock that emerges just above the surface of the water.
Beside the built-up area there is also a small tourist harbour with essential services for boats and local sailing.
