A late-16th-century coastal tower a few metres from the Adriatic between Frigole and San Cataldo, still recognisable in its square form but severely degraded and close to a military training area.

The work was assigned to Lecce master Alessandro Saponaro on 19 August 1582.
Sources say it may still have been incomplete in 1608.
An unusual quadrangular tower with battered walls and a stringcourse.
