Rivabella beach
Rivabella is one of the seaside resorts on the northern coast of Gallipoli. The shore has a long sandy beach, alternating in places with low rocks.
The seabed is generally shallow near the shore and the beach is bordered by a green belt with many pine trees.
The coastal pine woods
The pine woods are part of Rivabella’s landscape and in several places separate the beach from roads and the built-up area.
The coast is busiest in summer and includes both free public stretches and private beach businesses.
Torre Sabea
Torre Sabea is a small coastal watchtower built in the 16th century for defence.
The tower stands in the Crocefisso area and once communicated with Gallipoli’s northern fortifications and Torre dell’Alto Lido.
