A small free cove in the northern sector of Porto Selvaggio and Palude del Capitano Regional Natural Park, between Torre Uluzzo and Torre Inserraglio. It is best enjoyed as a natural beach: mixed seabed, rocks and pebbles, clear water, snorkelling and very limited direct services.
The priority is to distinguish the real Serra Cicora cove from misplaced map points farther north and from the nearby private beach club. Here you will find cautious advice on access, seabed, parking, children and park protection.
Serra Cicora is a small free stretch of Nardò’s coast inside the Porto Selvaggio and Palude del Capitano park sector. Sand, pebbles and rock can mix along the shore.

Some maps place Serra Cicora too far north, near Frascone/Sant’Isidoro. The Salentissimo place is instead between Torre Uluzzo and Torre Inserraglio.

The cove is outside the settlement and the approach can include unpaved ground, rocks and small paths. Recent practical sources indicate parking a short walk away.
Stable footwear for the approach and rock shoes for swimming are a good choice.
Capacity is modest compared with an urban beach. On busy days small roadside spaces can fill quickly.
Park only where permitted; do not block vegetation, paths, emergency access or the road.

Choose calm sea, remain close to shore and bring everything you need.

From 15 June to 30 August 2026 Nardò municipality deployed volunteers to promote good visitor practices in sensitive Porto Selvaggio areas.
No rubbish, fires or vegetation damage; follow the bathing ordinance and park signs.
