The Torre Suda coastline
The shoreline is mainly rocky, with low rocks, small sea access points and natural or historically adapted pools.
The coastal promenade and the garden near the tower are among the main public spaces of the resort.
The coastal tower
The tower formed part of the defensive system built to watch the Salento coast against raids.
The Municipality of Racale notes that the exact construction date is uncertain, but the tower appears in the official list of the Kingdom of Naples from 1613.
Conca delle Monache
Conca delle Monache is a small artificial pool carved into the rock in the early 20th century.
According to local tradition it was created so that nuns could bathe in a place sheltered from view.
