What this place is
This is the 16th-century Torre Chianca on Lecce’s Adriatic coast, not the tower of the same name near Porto Cesareo. The municipality describes it as partly ruined. Since 2026 the Torre Chianca–Spiaggiabella–Torre Rinalda sector has been included in a major coastal-park regeneration project addressing erosion, hydrological risk and mobility.
